My path to branding was a bit unconventional. After technical school, where I studied IT, I realized that my real passion lay in design and marketing. Despite my efforts, the IT field just didn't click with me. So, I shifted gears and started my own marketing agency. For nearly ten years, I ran the agency. It was an exciting time, and I threw myself into the work. We were creating solid projects, but as time went on, something felt off. The projects were just that—projects. They lacked depth, emotion, and storytelling. It was like we were crafting well-built ships but not giving them the sea to explore.
This realization hit me hard. I understood that my own business lacked a soul, and I knew I needed to change that. Just as I was getting curious about diving deeper into branding—which is all about creating connections through storytelling—2020 brought a multitude of challenges. It forced me to make a difficult decision—I closed my marketing agency.
But as one door closed, another opened. The challenges of 2020 gave me the clarity and focus I needed to return to what sparked my curiosity in the first place:
branding. This time, it was about more than logos and taglines. It was about infusing real, palpable emotion into every brand story, about creating something that resonates deeply with people on a human level.
That's when ifeel Studios was born. Shortly after,
Willow Valley Communities' incredible marketing team recognized the unique value I brought to the table. In addition to running ifeel Studios, I also manage all web strategy as the organization's Marketing Web Strategist for Willow Valley Communities and its brands, such as
Mosaic,
SmartLife, and others. This dual role allows me to apply my deep understanding of branding and digital marketing on a larger scale, enhancing the vibrant, engaging presence of Willow Valley Communities online and beyond.
